You're still at school, you've just left school or you'd like to go to university? Completing an internship at Steinbeis will give you valuable insights into the paper industry, and inspiration for choosing a career. If you have a "Hauptschulabschluss" or "Realschulabschluss" school leaving certificate (GCSE equivalent), you are most welcome to apply for a vocational training position with Steinbeis. If you have an advanced school leaving certificate (Abitur or equivalent), we offer attractive career opportunities via a cooperative education programme which combines advanced education with a work placement here in one of the most modern companies in the recycling industry.
Girls Day, Boys Day
Every year, Steinbeis traditionally hosts a Girls & Boys Day. On this day, we present various vocational training opportunities and careers for young, committed school leavers in the recycling industry. So what's on the agenda on Girls & Boys Day? We'll give you a guided tour of Europe's most modern integrated paper recycling factory. You'll be able to see the different vocations at Steinbeis in action: research, development, production, engineering, marketing, sales and administration.

Study at university and do work placements at Steinbeis (find out more under "Work Experience and Dissertations") – the clever way to combine a particularly attractive degree course with working in the paper industry. Before applying for a place on a cooperative education programme in the fields of Business Computing B. Sc. (UAS) or Business Administration B. Sc. (UAS), you will need to sit a selection test set by the Nordakademie University. Once you have completed the test, you will receive your results in a PDF file. Please include this PDF with your application. Without this document, we regret that Steinbeis will be unable to accept your application to the Nordakademie. We offer placements for a cooperative education programme in Electronic Engineering with focus on automation technology in conjunction with Emden/Leer University.
